Trent Alexander – Arnold, is an English footballer currently playing for Premier League club Liverpool and the England National Team. Trent is an academy graduate of Liverpool and made his first team debut in 2016, aged 18, in a 2-1 victory against Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup.

After his breakthrough season in 2016, Trent went on to win Liverpool’s Young Player of the year award. After making his first Premier League start against Manchester United in January 2017 at Old Trafford, he has been a regular feature in the Liverpool First team and scored his first goal for Liverpool a Champions League qualifier against Hoffenheim, a 25 yard free kick., making him the third youngest player to score on his Liverpool European debut. Trent’s first Premier League goal came in a 5-0 win against Swansea at Anfield.


After a successful 2017/18 season, Trent was selected in the England World Cup squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and made his England first team debut in June 2018 in a 2-0 win against Costa Rica. Capping a successful season, Trent was nominated for the Golden Boy award in July 2018.

Trent went onto not only win the Champions League in the 2019 season but then go into 2020 to win Liverpools first Premier League title in 30 years. His impressive form has earned him another nomination for young player of the year award.
