TOWNSEND.
Andros Townsend is an English footballer who plays for Premier League club Crystal Palace. A product of the Spurs academy, Townsend had loan spells with nine different clubs before gaining a regular first team place for Spurs.
Towsend marked his Spurs debut by scoring and being voted Man of the match in a third round FA Cup tie against Charlton Athletic in January 2011. He then went on to be a regular feature in the Spurs team in their Europa League campaign in the 2011/12 season, scoring his second goal for the senior team against Shamrock Rovers.a
On transfer deadline day in January 2013 Andros joined Queens Park Rangers, linking up with former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp. Townsend made his debut for QPR in a goaless draw against Norwich, where he was named Man of the match. He scored his first goal for the club against Sunderland with a volley from outside the penalty area in the 3 – 1 win at home to Sunderland.

After his loan spell with QPR came to end, Andros returned to Spurs at the start of the 2013/14 season, playing in victories over Crystal Palace, Swansea City and Dinamo Tbilisi. In which he scored and made two assists. He went on to score his first Premier League goal for Spurs away to Aston Villa in a 2-0 victory.
Andros received his first call to the senior England squad in September 2013 for the World Cup Qualifiers. He made his senior debut in the starting eleven against Montenegro in a 4 – 1 win, where he was involved in England’s first goal and scoring their third, with a low swerving finish from outside the penalty area. He was also named Man of the match.
In January 2016 Andros joined Newcastle United, where he quickly became a fans favorite after a number of good performances.
Andros went on to join Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016.
