Alex is a Romanian born centre-back who spent his whole youth career as a Leicester City player before joining Romanian Champions, CFR Cluj.

He came through the Leicester City academy, playing alongside the likes of Ben Chilwell and Harvey Barnes, before deciding not to extend his stay at Leicester and Join CFR Cluj following on from a brilliant run of form for the Romanian u21s side in the 2019 UEFA European Championships, where Romania reached the Semi-final’s before being knocked out by Germany.

In January 2020, Alex joined FC Voluntari on loan from Cluj for the remainder of the campaign.
